Kristin is a music teacher. Tommy is a solider. They currently live in different states. I can’t even imagine how difficult it is to be away from your loved one. And not just any loved one, but the one you want to be with for the rest of your life. Kristin and Tommy have made it work and their love has overcome all obstacles in their way. It was such an honor to photograph their wedding this past saturday. The couple tied the knot at St. Mary’s Church in Hales Corners and celebrated their new union at New Berlin Hills Golf Club. It was a lovely day with gorgeous weather! I am so happy for these two as they finally venture off into life happily ever after.

Seeing as Kristin is a music teacher, she sang a song to Tommy after their first dance. She sang Jason Mraz’s “I won’t give up” it has become one of my favorites and I listen to it on repeat for hours. A few tears welled up in my own eyes when the guitarist began strumming the chords. Such a powerful song. Here is one of my favorite lyrics from the song:
