I recently purchased an iphone after swooning over it for months and months and maybe even years. I love being able to have a way to document my life at all times. I knew soon as I got the phone we would be inseparable. And, it is trueShortly after I got the phone I had the brilliant idea of a calendar camera app. Take a picture once a day and upload it to a calendar. Yay! Well someone beat me to the punch and after a little searching I found the 365 app. Love it! It’s a definite download for a snap happy mommy like myself! I also immediately downloaded instagram and started snapping a away. In the two short months of owning this phone I have taken almost 400 images! Whoa! That’s a lot! I love being able to snap photos of my kids at a moments notice and not worry about lugging my expensive camera around all the time. I still bring my trusty Mark with me, but not for those short family trips or mundane everyday tasks. Those can sometimes be the best to document, the real stuff of life. So, for those reading this, welcome to another new segment on the blog, InstaLife! Feel free to follow me on Instragram, my user name is “lisamathewson” if you’d like to follow along with our daily musings. I’ve recently been thinking about how to print, display or export these cute little square images of my daily life. I came across these cute little Blurb Books that export your Instagrams into an actual album that you can purchase!! I LOVE this idea. I recently made an album of my May and June instagrams and it came in the mail earlier this week. What an easy and inexpensive way to save your images in a printed and tangible form. These little books start around $20!! What a deal!
Here are some of my favorite instagrams and a few shots of my new album
